Second public meeting allows residents to question Conservative candidate

Public meetingGraham Stuart, the Conservative candidate for Beverley and Holderness, will be hosting the second of two public meetings on Friday to help introduce himself to residents who are joining the constituency.

Boundary changes mean the villages of Middleton-on-the-Wolds along with North and South Newbald will now be part of the Beverley and Holderness constituency.

The first meeting was held in Newbald Primary School last Friday and was attended by around 40 residents who asked questions on both local and national policy.

The next meeting will be on April 23 again between 7pm and 8pm at Middleton-on-the-Wolds Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School, Station Road, Middleton-on-the-Wolds, YO25 9UQ.

Graham said: “I was very heartened by the number of people who took the time and trouble to come out and meet me.

“I feel these meetings are an ideal opportunity for residents who are now going to be in the Beverley and Holderness constituency to come and talk to me about what they would like to see a Conservative Government do for the country.”

Graham urged as many residents as possible to attend the meeting.
