Graham said, “We expect to see both local and national businesses at this event offering employment opportunities, work experience and advice for Jobseekers.
“Unemployment was down by just over 2% last month in East Riding which is better than the national average and we have seen 800,000 private sector jobs created under the Coalition Government. We need to build on this and continue to reduce the unemployment rate for a stronger economy. I am looking forward to seeing an enthusiastic presence at the event from both jobseekers and businesses alike.”
Mandy Oliver from Jobcentreplus said, “This is an exciting local event and jobseekers are welcome to attend at any time during the session to talk to employers and training providers. Jobseekers will also have an opportunity to chat with an Employment Adviser.”
