Local MP to visit Cherry Tree Advice Centre this Friday

Graham Stuart, the MP for Beverley and Holderness, will be visiting the Cherry Tree Advice Centre on Friday 2nd November at 3.30pm to discuss efforts to stop domestic abuse.

He will be meeting some of those involved with the work of the new Break Away domestic violence project, which was founded just six weeks ago. It provides a confidential advice line, drop-in sessions and one-to-one support by appointment.

Graham said, “I am looking forward to seeing the valuable work being done to help people affected by domestic violence, and offering any support or assistance I can provide.”

Members of the media are invited to attend, to help raise the profile of this new centre and focus attention on the need to combat domestic violence in all its forms. The centre is located at 117 Cherry Tree Lane, Beverley, HU17 0AY.
