Graham took part in a Coastal Towns debate. Here is his speech in full: “It is a pleasure to take part in the debate. I congratulate my hon. Friend Mark Simmonds on doing so much to highlight the needs and interests of coastal towns by producing the report “No Longer the End of the Line” and [...] With the polling stations open Graham Stuart spent election day touring the Beverley and Holderness constituency. Travelling from Newbald in the West to Middleton-on-the-Wolds, Cherry Burton, Leven, Tickton, Routh, Hornsea, Mappleton, Aldbrough, Withernsea, Easington, Welwick, Patrington, Ottringham, Hedon and finally back to Beverley. Holderness coast Following an Adjournment Debate at the House of Commons on off-shore dredging, led by Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart, a government minister has answered a series of questions. Graham called for the debate after being contacted by constituents who believe off-shore dredging is causing coastal erosion to speed up. Westminster Hall debate The possible impact of off-shore dredging on the Holderness coast was debated in Parliament thanks to Graham Stuart MP. Graham led an adjournment debate on the subject in which he called on the Government to commission more research into any possible link between the dredging of sand and gravel from sites several kilometres [...] Holderness coast MP for Beverley and Holderness, Graham Stuart, has been granted an adjournment debate in the House of Commons.
