Expenses
All MPs are allowed to claim allowances for costs which they may incur during the course of their Parliamentary duties.
These allowances are paid from one of two budgets.
The Additional Costs Allowance (ACA) reimburses Members of Parliament for expenses wholly, exclusively and necessarily incurred when staying overnight away from their main UK residence (referred to below as their main home) for the purpose of performing Parliamentary duties. This excludes expenses that have been incurred for purely personal or political purposes.
The Incidental Expenses Provision (IEP) is available to meet costs incurred on Members’ Parliamentary duties. It cannot be used to meet personal costs, or the costs of party political activities or campaigning.
Graham, along with many other MPs, now publishes his expenses online. The latest expense claims can be viewed here.
Below are Graham Stuart’s previous allowance claims.
These files were prepared by the Fees Office which also blanked out personal details.
