MP to push for Beverley southern relief road in meeting with minister

Beverley and Holderness MP, Graham Stuart, has secured a meeting with

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, Norman Baker, to put the case for a new bypass.

Graham will be pushing for the Department for Transport to agree to move forward with plans to build Beverley’s southern relief road.

Finally a ‘wind farm too far’ appeal is rejected

Beverley and Holderness MP, Graham Stuart today said he was delighted a planned wind farm in the constituency had been refused.

 Energie Kontor had wanted to build three giant turbines at Monkwith, just north of Withernsea.

But, after the plans were rejected by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, the developers took the matter to appeal.

Bypass must be ‘best value’ to succeed

Beverley and Holderness MP, Graham Stuart, pressed the case for the Beverley Southern Relief Road at a meeting with the Secretary of State for Transport, Philip Hammond.
