MP hatches plan to improve egg standards in the EU

Graham Stuart MP has today called for a tough stance by the European Union on egg producers who do not comply with the industry’s new welfare standards.

Graham met with representatives from the British Egg Industry Council on Monday in a Parliamentary reception to discuss the impact of the EU directive on Laying Hen Welfare legislation.
