I appreciate that you are concerned about the Energy Bills Rebate and how it will be implemented. I hope you will be reassured to know that the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy is consulting on the details of the rebate and how best to deliver it. Officials will be considering for example whether there should be an opportunity to opt out and how to ensure that domestic customers using different payment methods and those on different styles of contracts with energy providers can also benefit from the rebate scheme.
