Graham is backing Cllr Sean McMaster and Cllr Lyn Healing’s motion to East Riding of Yorkshire Council calling for immediate withdrawal from discussions with Nuclear Waste Services about a Geological Disposal Facility in south Holderness.

In the wake of recent storms, which saw flooding of acres of farmland in East Yorkshire, Graham Stuart, Member of Parliament for Beverley and Holderness, met with farmers and members of the Beverley and North Holderness IDB (Internal Drainage Board) to discuss possible solutions. 

Graham Launches Nuclear Vote 4 Holderness Petition

Graham has launched a petition to call for a referendum on the potential Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) in Holderness.

 

A referendum would force Nuclear Waste Services (NWS) to make the case to the people of Holderness that this site would be safe.

 

Graham’s 75 Bus Timetable Improvement Starts Today

Starting today, the 75 bus will run once an hour between Hull, Hedon and Withernsea after 5.30pm. This is a great improvement as before today the bus ran just once every two hours in the evening.
